Today is an important day for me. A year ago I'm on Blip.fm. It was a wonderful year for me!!

I love Blip.fm and I think I have many friends there with whom I shared good times. But I made the decision to step away for a while here. I'll take a blipvacation. The reasons don't matter... I don't know when I will return, but certainly back... although I think for me it will not be the same. I will close... as a listener and propping you.

I'll miss everyone and I look forward to maintaining contac… Continue

Blip and a balanced life.

I'm finding less and less time to Blip. By November, when I do NaNoWriMo and work on my 50,000 word novel, I will probably stop altogether. Some of this feels sad, some natural.

But life is full of stuff and it's harder to stay online for fun. Isn't that weird? But I love Blip. I love blipping music.

Must find a balance. Help!

Why Blip Blows For Me

@daretoeatapeach brought this to my attention, but it goes just beyond searching under tag names in blip for a song. No longer can you find ANY uploads in the blip search whether they are uniquely tagged with the blipper name or not. I did some random searches for songs I know others have uploaded and they simply do not come up. So unless you know the URL of the track (just as you would with a youtube URL) or happen to come across one that was already blipped to reblip, you will not find it.

Blip MeetUps WorldWide (Who's In)

Imagine a BlipParty w/many Computers, DJs, and Great Music. We could all Blip and Talk and Share Ideas IN-PERSON. U seem like Good People 2 Meet.

Of course the atmosphere would be inviting. Something comfortable, beyond a bar. Like a big place filled with Computers, Places to Sit, Food, Drink, Tea, Incense and Peppermints. Social, but not intimidating. Casual, yet not secluded. Every DJ would get a brief set on the Keyboard and Mouse (if they want). We could rotate the Music. Kind of like Twitt… Continue
