I can't get my blip.fm widget to embed on my page. It's been there since my first day here. This morning I noticed it was showing an error so I tried to re-embed it, and the code keeps disappearing. Thanks for any help.

I have a fix for it.

Blip doesn't give you the entire code. I fixed it this way, you need the "DIV" tags. For example:

Put this one at the beginning:
<div id="embedPlayer">

put the code BLIP gives you in the middle.

and this one at the end:
</div>

Still not working for me. I tried a few things and as soon as I add the <object> from blip, ning bins whatever text I had

I find the deleting the "embed"
code allows it to work somewhat. After pasting in the code from blip.fm, delete everything from "(left angle bracket) embed" to "(left angle bracket)(slash)embed(rightangle bracket)"
. I also recommend bumping up the height from 150 to 1900 or more....
Hope this helps.

Neither way seems to work for me. Dustin's way: nothing. Steve's way: big blank spot.

I sent an email to support @ NING, maybe they can help me get the player working.

Wow...I had a burst of genius this morning, and got my player to work! I just did what Steve( smipilot) said...thanks Steve!!

I'll try to show you guys what I did:

After pasting in your code...you have to delete the bolded section in your embed code, I put the section between asteriks to help it stand out:

***embed src="http://blip.fm/_/swf/BlipEmbedPlayer.swf" quality="high"height="150" width="100%" name="BlipEmbedPlayer" align="middle"play="true"loop="false"quality="high"allowScriptAccess="always"type="application/x-shockwave-flash"pluginspage="http://www.adobe.com/go/getflashplayer"wmode="transparent"flashVars="username=BoChica&limit=1">******

I hope this helps (I also hope it makes sense...I just woke up! )

Smooches!

So it shouldnt have any of the main embed code at all, just the object--> object then?

I deleted the embed code, now all I get is a blank space but no player.

Hi...sorry it's not working...try deleting everything after the line that contains your username:

username=BoChica&limit=1"/> <== you should start deleting after this character.

So the line that you're deleting should start with:

<....embed (minus the dot dot dot)

This box thinks I'm trying to run a script...I hope this makes sense. Good luck!
