Upload your favorite music to Blip.fm ..mm.. use https://www.dropbox.com/ Transfer your music tracks to dropbox, right clic on a track to drop the menu down and select "copy public link" then past this URL into Blip.fm -Me- Settings- Music

Get Blip Tools and get rid of Imeem (which seriously spoils enjoyment by shortening blips to 30sec ...(doesn't affect USA but does UK and Canada and some other countries) and blipups

Click Music.
Paste URL of Hosted Song.

How do I get my music to show up in the search results?

In a perfect world we would have every song from every band ever, and we’re working on that, but for now there’s a chance that your music isn’t in our database. If you have music that you would like to make available for others to blip, you can save URLs to music otherwise not hosted. First, create an account (or log in if you already have one), then click the “Settings” link in the top right corner and click “Music” (link: http://blip.fm/settings/music). From there you can enter in as many urls to songs as you would like and we’ll save them for you and they will be accessible from our search. If you are an artist or label and would like us to host your content (e.g., because your content isn’t hosted anywhere else), you can contact us at artists@blip.fm, providing your name and full contact information, as well as a list of the content you represent; requests will be considered on a case by case basis. NOTE: It’s a good idea to make sure the ID3 tags are in order, we plan to use them quite a bit.

I have a URL for my song, can I blip it without saving the URL to your servers?

Yep, just type the URL (starting with ‘http://’ or ‘https://’) into the search bar and hit “SEARCH”. We automatically grab the ID3 tags (if they’re available) so make sure the file is properly tagged.

I use PlayList.com to add music to BlipFM.
Type a Song Title or Artist into the Search Bar on the Main Page of Project Playlist.
You then go to a Results Page. Right Click the "View Site" Link.
Copy the URL of the Song, Paste into BlipFM's Search Bar.
Preview it to make sure it plays. (Does 9 out of 10 times).
Blip It into CyberSpace.

You can also Add Songs to Blip by going into Settings on your BlipFM Profile and adding a few URLs that way.

oh gee i feel special now, actually i never knew music was as important to me until i joined blip. MUSIC, has always defined me. Thanks for all your tunes and teaching me so much more about music.

one day maybe I will be an expert today still just a rookie lol - im waiting for the voice activated blip.fm car stereo - that would be cool
